The Phoenix (Cramlington)

Built in the late 80s when it was decided that dispite the other 8 or 9 pub/bars Cramlington could do with one more. Adopted by the youth of cramlington on a friday night. Was a Vaux Pub.

Known for its glassings and fights come kick out time (late 1990s). Got so bad that a police van had to be parked waiting to stop things when it to kick off, that is until 2003 when police CCTV cameras were installed.

Also Cramlington High School Sixth form members used to frequent it on a dinner time due to its reasonalbly priced dinners; pool, Sega Rally, Point Blank arcade machines and by last but no means least a great pint of Speckled Hen. Sometimes teachers would also frequent the public house for dinner and give a nod to the sixth former in a, we have seen this and neither have you.
