  • Surprising Brussels! What a city. The people are charming, the food delicious, the beer is even better. And the historic architecture speaks for itself.
  • thanks for that wonderful word picture of Brussels. I want to go visit.
  • Capital of the European Empire ! Long live Europe !
  • its amzing
  • Brussels used to be a Dutch-speaking city and only in the last 100 became French-speaking. It's now a French-speaking island surrounded by Dutch-speaking commuter times, much to the resentment of the Flemish. The actual city only has a population of about 150,000 making it smaller than Antwerp, but the urban area is more like 1 million.
  • brussles is very nice place
  • Brussels is an amazingly diverse city. First time visitors might find it hard to see the charm, as it is quite dirty in places,or find the nice places to hang out, but after 10 years of living here i still discover new things everyday. If you visit, ask locals and get off the beaten track.
