The legendary Italian Tenor Luciano Pavarotti was born here in Modena on October 12th, 1935. His death on Thursday 6th September, 2007 at the age of 71, saddens me, my daughter and my son. Due to him we learned to appreciate and enjoy Western Classical Music, no doubt it will take couple of centuries to produce another Pavarotti.
