"Power was an increasingly necessary commodity throughout the plant and a number of generators and sub-stations dotted the plant. This is a two-story rectangular metal building, with a gabled monitor roof. The structure has a brick-clad base, with corrugated steel cladding and roofing, and steel sash windows. A black-painted steel smokestack ascends from the southeast corner."
