A 608.38 m (1996 ft) tall guyed mast, used for FM broadcasting, built in 2003. The primary reason for such a tall tower out here in the middle of no place is so that radio stations that do not have a license for metropolitan Denver can broadcast a strong signal into the Denver area, about 40 miles west. Makes a huge difference in advertising revenue. Currently used by KTNI-FM and KONN-FM, others to be added.
It is one of the tallest structures in the World. The base is at 4,960 feet so the top is at 6,946 feet.
