Pseudo-Rennaisance General Post Office building had been located in the place of the first botanical gardens in Central Europe. It was developed in 1871-1874 by architect J. Bělsky. The rectangular hall is covered by the glass roof and the vestibule is decorated by allegorical paintings with theme of postal and transport bussines. The main post office is open daily from 02.00 to 24.00 hrs.
