Should be 500 year old fort from the era of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Lack of awareness amongst the villagers is making them use this place for humiliating purposes. Also the goverments apathy is responsible for loss of this ancient monument which is on the verge of demolition.

There is 'Pir'/Dargah (grave) of holy ancient saint in the fort on which there are lots of tale. Lots of Hindus also worship this place along with Muslims.

As can be seen in the view, this fort has a well which is said to have underground path till the well inside the lake. This path is said to be used in case of emergencies in case of unexpected attacks to save the important personalities. No matter what is truth, there has to have lots of realities buried under this well. The ford has good defensive systems on the periphery on all four sides and can have view of miles of distances to keep track of enemies coming along. The view of lake from the fort is heavenly.
