USS Truxtun (DDG-103)

Shown here in the earlier stages of her construction, the Truxtun suffered a massive electrical fire which burned out the majority of her incomplete forward superstructure and the materials therein. The damage was believed to be in the multi-million dollar range and delayed her launching by over 2 months. Currently she has been launched, christened and is currently being fitted out.
