Building of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese.
The former Palace of the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church.
Built in 1842–1844.
Architect Johann Salzman.

In 1972–1990, the Sistema ('System') Science and Research Institute was located here, where technologies were developed for the military-industrial complex of the USSR.

On June 25, 2001, Pope John Paul II visited the Palace of Roman Catholic Archbishops during his visit to Ukraine.
After that, the building was handed over to the Office of the Lviv Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church.
