place with historical importance, islam, interesting place

Maqam Ibrahim (the Station of Ibrahim) is the stone on which he stood when the building became higher than he could reach. So his son put this famous stone there for him so that he could stand on it when the building grew tall… The footprints of al-Khaleel (Ibraaheem, peace be upon him) remained on the rock until the beginning of Islam.

There is no god but Allah, and Muhammed (peace and blessings be upon him) is his prophet.

It was mentioned in the verse (the Station of Abraham) and the Sunnah to pray behind him after the Taif roam. Oh God, guide us to pray behind him. It was originally glued to the wall of the Kaaba. Then transferred to the current location in the reign of caliph Omar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him and grant him) so he can cruise that roams without congestion.
