Alasht

Alasht (also Elasht, Literally: Eagle Sanctuary) is a small rural village in Savadkuh County, Mazandaran Province in Iran. It is isolated by surrounding mountains, which gives it a cooler climate than most regions of the province. It is most known for being the birthplace of Reza Pahlavi, the founder of Pahlavi dynasty.
