The Ohio Theatre is a performing arts venue in Downtown Columbua, Ohio. The theatre, designed by Thomas L. Lamb and developed by the Loew's theater chain in partnership with United Artists, opened in March 1928. The theatre was the premiere area showcase for films until it declined during the 1950s and 1960s. In 1969, the theatre was saved from demolition and kept open via a fund-raising effort. It was restored during the 1970s, and in the 1980s, an addition was built to the east and the stage was modernised and expanded.

The Ohio Theatre currently has a seating capacity of 2,779. The theatre is currently owned and operated by the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts. It is the home of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, BalletMed, the Broadway Series, Opera Columbus, and the CAPA Summer Movie Series.

The Ohio Theatre was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 5, 1977.
