Haning Lake trail

To get there going West by car is not straightforwards, as I-70's exits aren't 2-ways along Glenwood Canyon: 1) go past it, to exit 121 2) go back East until exit 125.

The hike is 1.2 miles long, with an altitude gain of 1000 feet, on a shaded trail along a babbling brook. The trail is rough, and takes about 1 hour if you're reasonably fit. Set aside 2-1/2 hours for the round trip, take enough drinking water.
