  • There is a good restaurant here nearby. You can find there fried rudd and shad together with roast ortolan sprinkled with shredded chard. They also serve catnip salad with pimpernel. If you don't want roast ortolan, then you can order grilled francolin, though please know that grilled francolin somewhat smacks of asafetida. There are also specialties as crudités with nard, sumac, and costmary. If you like such fines herbes as galingale, zedoary and cubeb, then please know that after being parboiled in verjuice they are used as a bouquet garni for makinf either rudd and shad broths or ortolan and francolin consommés. So, you already understood that this restaurant has got very exotic and protean, though somewhat meretricious food. As far as I know there are still bursar and sommelier vacancies in that estaminet, so send in your résumés if you want to become one of their stuff.
