You might be wondering where the hell Chathamangalam is. It is a lovely hill-station located 4 k.m. away from Thirumeni on Cherupuzha side and at an equal distance from Neduvode or Parappa on Alakode side. There are hundreds of families living here. In the year 2005 the then Chief Minister Mr.Oommen Chandi approved Thirumeni-Chathamangalam-Pookkad-Parappa-Alakode road to be developed under Prime Minister’s Gramin Sadak Yojana Project. But later the project had to breath it’s last as some big guns disliked it due to political rivalry. If you are a media personnel, polititian or governmental or non-governmental office bearer and have the goodwill to make this project come true kindly do the possible and the needful. The earlier the better.
