Residence designed James W. O'Connor c. 1921 in the Colonial Revival style on 63 acres for Elbridge Gerry Chadwick {capitalist, financier}. Chadwick served as vice president of the Brown-Wheelock real estate firm and managed the estate of Vincent Astor. Chadwick married Dorothy May Jordon in 1923, heir to the Jordon Marsh clothing store fortune. By 1957, Dorothy moved to Manchester Road, ME.
