fishing area, lake, boating
This lake is small but absolutely packed with wildlife. There has been much encroachment over the past 15 years but public access to the lake has remained open and worth visiting. The lake is covered with vegetation (mostly lilly pads) during the warm months and produces large alligators, huge bass, and large crappie. Don't try to swim here! If the gators don't get you the leaches will. Deer and turkey can be seen on shallow areas of this lake. Also, keep an eye out for air-boats; you will hear them before they see you in the sometimes thick cover.
