Some say the most elegant of the Goonhilly dishes, with its tapered tower and great beams behind, this dish reminds many of a windmill. It was opened in 1972, weighs 356 tonnes, has a diameter of 29,6 meters and faces an Intelsat satellite hovering over the Indian Ocean.
