This octagonal maqbara (Tomb) of Adham Khan, was built in 1561, during Akbar's reign. Adham Khan was the foster brother of Akbar, the son of his foster mother, Maham Anga, who also died on the fortieth day of the execution of her son, for killing another Mughal courtier, Shamsuddin Ataga Khan (Foster Father of Akbar) in 1561. The Tomb lies to the 500 metres South West of the Qutub Minar, immediately before one reaches the town of Mehrauli. It is now a protected monument by Archeological Survey of India.

This place is also known as Bhoolbhulaiya because of it's labyrith passages.
