This theater was built in 1926 by James Carroll Seale on Main Street in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Renaissance revival-style building is the nation’s last surviving two-story adobe theatre. The theater was placed on the State Register of Cultural Properties in August 2003 and became officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places in January 2004.
