Narasaraopet is mandal Head Quarter(Mdl code-39 of Guntur Dt, AP) for the following 17 villages :Dondapadu agraharam (U), Ellamanda, Guntagarlapadu, Ikkurru, Jonnalagadda (mapped), Kakani, Kesanapalli, Kondakavuru, Lingamguntla agraharam, Mulakalur, Narasaraopeta(rural), Palapadu, Pamidipadu agraharam, Petlurivaripalem, Potavarappadu(u.i), Ravipadu, UppalapaduNarasaraopet is a town and a municipality in Guntur district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
As of 2001 India census GRIndia, Narasaraopet had a population of 95,002. Males 50% females 50%. Narasaraopet has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 57%. In Narasaraopet, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.Narasaraopet is a town and a municipality.
