The peak of Indonesia at 4,884 m (16,024 ft) above sea level. It's so cold that there are glaciers on top of the mountain with occasional snow. First climbed in 1962 by an expedition led by the Austrian mountaineer Heinrich Harrer. The climb was documented in his book, I Come From the Stone Age. Much has changed since then e,g, it's height was then recorded as 17,096 ft (see map).
