Parede is a portuguese town which is the main settlement of the Parede Parish, Cascais Municipality. The civil parish has a population of 17,830.

The town has a police station, a fire department, an health center, schools, a marketplace, some banks, a supermarket, a small shopping center and many street shops. It also has a public park and a beach. There is a train station, giving access to the railroad system that connects Lisbon to Cascais (Linha do Estoril).
