Richmond station

Richmond station is a busy interchange serving the London Underground, Overground and South West Trains. It was first built by the London & South Western Railway and the current street building was built by Southern Railway.

It is the terminus of a branch from the District Line of the London Underground. These used the north 3 platforms (Platforms 5, 6 & 7).
It is also the terminus for North London Line trains on the London Overground. In the future they may be extended to Kingston. These use the middle 2 platforms (platforms 3 & 4).
South West Train services run to London Waterloo eastbound (on Platform 2). Westbound trains (on Platform 1) head around the Hounslow and Kingston Loops before looping back to Waterloo, of else going onwards to Windsor or Reading.
