Shimogamo-jinja (下鴨神社) is an important Shinto sanctuary in the Shimogamo district of Kyoto city's Sakyō ward, and is one of the seventeen UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto (Kyoto, Uji and Otsu Cities)".
