Mr. Jyotirmay Ray was the Chief Superintendent of Training at Rourkela Steel Plant, before he left and joind the Consulting firm Dastur & Co. His wife Mrs. Sita Ray used to teach art at DeSouza's School. After they left Rourkela, they were in Libya for a while and then spent many years in Japan. After retiring, they have moved to New Delhi. Their contribution to life in the Steel City during the Sixties and Seventies can never be forgotten.
