St. Pete Times Forum is the home of the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League as well as the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League. It hosts more than 150 events annually, including concerts, family events, ice shows, the circus and indoor sports.

Foremly called the Ice Palace, the arena was constructed on the bank of the Garrison Channel and is a heralded part of current revitalization going on in Tampa's Channelside district.
