  • It is known as one of the best schools in Uzbekistan district of Ferghana region. School mainly focuses on medicine. Student body 1100. Reconstructed in 2006.
  • School was erected in 1972. It was named after Maxim Gorky, the worldknown Russian poet. In 1992, after Uzbekistan gained independence from Soviet Union, school was a part of derussianilization and renamed to Akhmad Yassaviy. Akhmad Yassaviy is a notary in sufism, a wing of islamic school. He was born and lived in Turkiston City, now in Kazakhstan. The school offers education in 3 phases, elementary, secondary, and high. Although the latter was suspended according to modernizing plans of education in Uzbekistan in 2006, due to demand of population, it continued operation. This school serves as the base school in the region, attracting more student body than it actually can do and organizing school in 3 different schedules, beginning at 7.30am, 12:00 pm, and 4pm. It's high school mainly focuses on medicine, offering extraordinary classes in biology, chemistry and other medical sciences.
