503-foot, 39-story International-style office building completed in 1961. Designed by Emery Roth & Sons, it is clad in a curtain wall of stainless steel, aliminum and glass. Each bay is divided into two sets of paired windows, with dark-grey metal spandrels. The building rises up vertically to various setbacks at the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th & 25th floors, depending on which facade. The ground floor is occupied by an Au Bon Pain restaurant, LensCrafters, Dunkin' Donuts, and the New York Lottery Customer Service Center.
