Originally the Bell Bomber Plant, it was completed shortly after Pearl Harbor in 1941. Over 600 B-29s were built here during WWII and headed for the war with Japan. It was later converted to Lockheed Georgia Company, now Lockheed-Martin.
Also known as Air Force Plant No. 6.
The C-130 Hercules, C-5 Galaxy and the new F-22 Raptor are all built here.
