Former Vouziers-Sechault airbase. An abandoned military airfield constructed in 1953 as a USAF Dispersed Operation Base. No flying units were ever assigned to this base as the facility was closed and handed over to French authorities in 1959.
The FAF used the base incidentally for flight training until 1980.
After that the base was deactivated and placed in a caretaker status remaining so until today.
