The grate place that gave birth to several great historical personalities, renowned doctors, advocates, business magnets, academecians and scientists.

This is my Academic mother land. Divine place.

A great place with spiritual base. Being the birth place of Sri Sri Sri (1008) Sitarama yatindra Gurudevula varu and having Two famous and power studded temples like Sri Lakshmipati Swamy vari Temple , Sri Vaikuntha Natha Temple and being the Head office for Mumukshu jana Mahapeetham ( Sri Krishnasramam). People from neighbouring villages pray the Abhayanjaneya Swamy for getting their desires fulfilled.
Famous ritual times are: Dhanurmasam, Sudersan Homam period ( roughly 45 days from Jan 25th), Sri Krishna Jayanti, Kalyana mahostavams of dieties, Sri Rama navami, etc.
Buses are available from Vijayawada and Machilipatnam.

This place is a famous Sri Vaishnava Kshethram, Nilayam for SriLaxmiPathi Swami who has been first installed by Sri Vyasa Maharshi and the present installation is the third one done in 14th Century by Acharya's forefathers. Our Acharya HH SRI SRI SRI Seetharama Yathindra Gurudevula, has done His Sadhana here for over 50 years and established Sri Krishnaasramam in 1937, because Lord Krishna has given His vision to our Acharya here...

Later His Son, HH Sri Sri Sri Laxmana Yathindra Gurudevula Varu has developed it so much that what all seen in the asramam is because of His grae only.
