Hey !! That's my old church in Madras,we used to attend services there in the 60/70-80's,good old place full of childhood memories of past VBS's and afternoons of fun and laughter, yes indeed it has scottish origins when you see the inscriptions on the Chalice light hanging at the center of the altar with its distinctive Red chimeney glass!we cleaned it in 1975 VBS as students! This church has a rich history of societal members scattered across the globe, many a times I still visit this place of Happiness in my mind sitting here in N.A.One day I shall visit this shrine of childhood memories, maybe i'll see some old members like prem anna or selvaraj uncle,my hearty greetings to the present day st.Andrews youth fellowship.God Bless. p.a.j.- Canada.

I'm hoping to visit this church later this year. It's where my Grandparents were married in 1902. Septimus Whitfield and Grace Constance Garratty. If any one can help me trace my Grandmother's origin I'd be eternally grateful. I suspect she has Indian ancestry, she was born in Madras in 1884. Her Mother's name was Lydia but I know no more than that. Cheers to all.....Paul Hinley..Queensland. Australia.
