Late Mr. G.T.Parande, one of the finest journalists of central india, worked with Hitavada for almost fifty years. He started his career in Hitavada as a sports reporter and rose to become its Editor through his exceptional journalistic qualities and dedication to the profession. Even afte his retirement he continued his association with the newspaper as its Ombudsman and later its Editorial Advisor.
