military, Cold War 1947-1991, nikemissile, missile launch facility
This is the location of the former Nike site D-14L. This location contains 2 underground missle magazines. Each magazine had a hydraulic elevator to raise the missles up from the magazine. On top of each magazine were 4 universal launchers. The 2 magazines appear to still be intact. Their outlines can be seen under the parked boats and RVs.
