Moikarako is a small Kayapo indigenous village of about 400 people (2008).
The village lies inside of the Kayapo Indigenous Territory, a vast protected land reserve. It is accessible by boat during the rainy season, and a cessna airplane from Redenção or Tucumã.
You must receive special authorization from the Kayapo people and FUNAI before entering.
