Bochum-Dahlhausen Railway Museum (Bochum)

The DGEG Railway Museum Bochum-Dahlhausen is the largest private railway collection in Germany. It is maintained and enlarged chiefly by volunteers. Since 1977 the museum is located in a former railway depot built during World War I. Its most striking features are the roundhouse with 14 tracks and the water tower (still in use).
