Twenty-eight feet high and 150 feet in diameter, is one of the larger remaining mounds in Ohio. The size, shape, and location of this mound suggest that it was built by the Adena.

  • Thanks to the unregistered user who pointed out the actual location of Williamson Mound. I moved the original tag (which already had a good photo & description) to the correct place.
  • The boulder at the foot of the mound (seen in the photo) isn't original to the structure. It was added in the 20th century to hold a memorial plaque.
