Old Town Transit Center

USA / California / San Diego / Taylor Street, 4005
Amtrak, light rail station, train station, bus stop, metro station

The Old Town Transit Center is a major transportation hub for the southern portion of San Diego County. It is a major station for the Trolley's Green Line. It is one of the busiest MTS bus stops with routes serving the beaches, northern San Diego, Mission Valley, Center City, and other areas.

The North County Transit District's San Diego Coast Express Rail, or COASTER serves the North Coast of San Diego County from here as well, as does Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner passenger trains to Orange County, Los Angeles, and beyond. There are also several private tour bus operators that use the Old Town Transit Center as well.

The transit center straddles the train tracks and is hence divided into a western and eastern part that are connected by an underground pedestrian passage. All of the rail lines and some of the bus stops are on the east side. The west side has a large Park-and-Ride lot and the remainder of the bus stops.

Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner passenger trains have service only on weekends.
