I was born in KASGANJ...what a lovely city...brought to Delhi_did B.E.(Elect.&comm)& Specialization in BIomedical Engineering & presently working in Kingdom of Saudi Arab.
the word Kas means one of bunch of trees were surrounded in the heart of city about 200 yrs.before_ later nawab Yauqut Ali Khan who was the senior command officer appointed by nawab of farrukhabad resides in Kasganj( his house now known as TEHSIL)in the heart of city.Jama masjid,Chamunda Devi Temple,Jhal ka Pul are historical sites.I like the green vegetables all kind( Best in the word)no doubt at all...always available only in Kasganj...kasganj ka Paani is more useful to heal the patient..peaceful city that is why pupil from out side the district want to settle in kasganj...the fresh air heals the patient..

I would like to mention that myself is born n broughtup at Kasganj, now setteld in Pune (Maharashtra), working with a MNC. The main speciality of Kasganj's Jhal Ka pul (Nadrai ka Pul)is that there is a crossing of River and Canal. Below is the River (Kali Nadi) and avobe is Canal (Hazara Nahar. You can croos the the in between which called as Tunel (chor kothari).
Every year there is a festival celebrated on the first Tuesday of "HOLI". Every Year Ramlila, Krishnalila and Rajgaddi celebrated at very large scale, thousands of people gather at that time. | ||||

Kasganj is famous for FOUR = char darwaje i.e. Nadrai,SOron,Sahawar & Bilram Char Mohalle - Mohan,Jai Jai Ram, Nawab & Nathuram. just like chopar having Baradwari in centre. Chat to aisi ki mouth watering, roshanlal & ulfatrai ki sohanpapdi. Kasganj is great that is my home. I always miss it being far from there but enjoy every moment while staying. | ||||

i m shashank maheshwari.kasganj is my motherland.now i m in bhilwara.i m doing engineering.there are so many place in kasganj to visit.like the temple of chamunda,barahdwari ka ghantaghar,jhar ka pull,s.g. inter college which was founded by britishions.there are also a court,a park,many fields to play,high lable railway line,industry.kasganj is a developing city.i m proud of being a citizen of kasganj.i live in kasganj at soot ki mandi near bilram gate.
