  • As a former resident of bridge hall estate I can tell you it is a great and much maligned little estate who's residents are lovely people on the whole (you get a few bad eggs everywhere even in the so called 'posh' areas) and I only moved away (after 46 years) because I was forced to by my draconic / tyrannical local authority who would not let me remain in the house I grew up in, following a family bereavement and would still be there if not for a despotic chief housing officer with his immoral and politically brown nosing housing policies.
