The pyramid acts simply as an architecturally interesting skylight for the new vestibule added to the great museum. One may suppose objectively that, to the degree that esoteric mysterious qualities may be associated with the Great Pyramids at the Giza Plateau at Cairo or with this geometry in general, such qualities may exist here.

With regard to the aesthetic appeal of the glass pyramids one may perhaps refer to the opinion of ancient Greece: 'Disparate elements make for the fairest harmony.'

In general, we may attach meaning to our symbols, functional or not, as we wish. In that context, the original pyramids seem to have been intended as vehicles meant to assist the human soul in its quest for divinity and eternity, thus lending some more sublime and splendid meaning to our relatively short lives on our obscure little planet embedded in our obscure little galaxy. Truly, 'Tis the mind that maketh the body rich.' Let the mind feast upon the fields of the universe! Bon appetite mes ami!

"Whoever you are, I fear you are walking the walk of dreams. I fear that these supposed realities are to melt under your hands and feet. Whoever you are now, I place my hand upon you that YOU shall be my poem." WALT WHITMAN - Leaves of Grass

The 'DaVinci' connection: Fiction is a literary tool employed by such men as Hugo, Dickens, Shakespeare, Cervantes etc. to enlighten and to impart ethical lessons. The message embedded in the fictional book and film, 'The DaVinci Code' seems to lost amidst the fury and flurry of controversy associated with the probably fiction. The lesson seems to be that "the spiritual is greater than any material force, that thoughts rule the world." EMERSON It seems to be also that the greatest treasure a man or woman might seek is a spiritual one, not made of stone or gold.

Furthermore, it seems to suggest, as do many authors and philosophers and prophets, that the Creator, Architect and Author of life is in fact in all things, and perhaps most beautifully within the human heart. "Through the human heart by which we live, all its tenderness, its joys, its fears, it seems to me the meanest flower that ever blows dust give thoughts that do lie too deep for tears." WORDSWORTH The world is a far far better place when we remember to endeavor to chase less after the winds of this so-called reality. All of it is meaningless. Physical technical progress is merely a means to an end and the needed emblem and sustenance. We might occasionally ask ourselves, 'What is then that end?' "What is the final and ultimate end that governs all principles of well-being and right conduct?" CICERO DE FINIBUS "QUI SIT FINIS, QUID EXTREMUM, QUID ULTIMUM, QOU SINT OMNIA BENE VIVENDI RECTEQUE FACIENDI CONSILIA REFERENDA...."

"For the race is not always to the swift, nor food to the wise, nor the battle to the strong, but fate and chance happen to them all." "With much wisdom comes sorrow, but wisdom is better than folly, just as light is better than darkness."

"A LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS AND THE DARKNESS WILL NOT OVERCOME IT."

The adjacent inversion here, to me, seems to suggest that, as we live always in the present moment, and thus have the focus of both the human and the divine of the eternal past, as well as the eternal future upon us, it is we here and now who have the power, individually to make the world a better place by sharing just an iota of kindness and goodwill. "It is due to justice that we are as God to one another, and not wolves." Francis Bacon JUSTITAE DEBETUR QUOD HOMO HOMINI SIT DEUS NON LUPUS

Furthermore, it seems to suggest, as do many authors, philosophers and prophets, that the great and good Creator, Architect of the Universe and Author of all life, in fact dwells within all things, and perhaps most beautifully, within the human heart. "Through the human heart by which we live, all its tenderness, its joys, its fears, it seems to me the meanest flower that ever blows does give thoughts that do lie too deep for tears." WORDSWORTH The world is a far far better place when we remember to endeavor to chase less after the winds of this so-called reality. All of it is meaningless. Physical and technical progress are merely a means to an end and the needed emblem and sustenance of the progress of souls along the Grand Roads of the Universe. We might occasionally consider this: 'What is then that end?' "What is the final and ultimate end that governs all principles of well-being and right conduct?"

"For the race is not always to the swift, nor food to the wise, nor the battle to the strong, but fate and chance happen to them all." "With much wisdom comes sorrow, but wisdom is better than folly, just as light is better than darkness."

“WISDOM has built her house: She has hewn out its seven pillars … and she calls from the highest point in the city, ‘Let all who are simple come in here! Walk in the way of understanding … Rebuke a wise man and he will love you. Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still. Teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning.’ ”

"A LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS AND THE DARKNESS WILL NOT OVERCOME IT."

The adjacent inversion here, to me, seems to suggest that, as we live always in the present moment, and thus have the focus of the eternal past, both the human and the divine , as well as the eternal future upon us, it is we here and now who have the power, individually to transform the world making it a better place by sharing daily an iota of kindness and goodwill. "It is due to justice that we are as God to one another, and not wolves." Francis Bacon JUSTITAE DEBETUR QUOD HOMO HOMINI SIT DEUS NON LUPUS

We must, “perceive life as a road, as roads for traveling souls. To take those you love on the road with you, for all that you leave behind. To see the Universe itself as a road, as many roads, as roads for traveling souls. ALL parts way for the progress of souls along the Grand Roads of the Universe, all troubles, follies, joys, pain, works, arts, wars, governments, religion, all that was or is upon the face of this globe, or any globe, parts way for the progress of souls along the Grand Roads of the Universe.

Of the progress of souls, all other progress is the needed emblem and sustenance. Forever alive, forever forward, stately, solemn, sad, withdrawn, mad, baffled, feeble, turbulent, proud, fond, sick, rejected by men, accepted by men, they go. I know not where they go, but I know that they go toward the best, toward something great! … Here is humankind tallied. We realize here what we have within us, the past, the future, majesty, love! If they are vacant of you, you are vacant of them.

Whoever you are now, I fear you are walking the walk of dreams. I fear that these supposed realities are to melt under your feet and hands. Whoever you are NOW I place my hand upon you that you SHALL be my future poem. Your very life shall be a poem, resonant, beautiful and glorious. Oh, I have been dilatory and dumb. I should have made my way to you long ago. I should have left all and sung the hymns of you. None has understood you, but I understand you. You have not understood yourself! None but would subordinate you, but I alone am he who shall never consent to subordinate you. I alone am he who places over you no owner, master, better, God, except that which waits intrinsically within yourself. COME FORTH, OR MAN OR WOMAN. COME FORTH FROM YOUR DARK CONFINMENT. FOR I KNOW ALL AND I SEE ALL.” Whitman – Leaves of Grass

"Some day, all shall be well." VOLTAIRE

And his Name shall be called: Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace!

You millions, do you not sense your Creator? Above the starry vault a loving Father must dwell!
Millionen, ahnest du den Schopfer. Uberm sternen Zelt muss ein lieber Vater wohnen!

James M - SPES MEA IN DEO EST. Ever remembering that, IUSTITIAE DEBETUR QUOD HOMO HOMINI, SIT DEUS NON LUPUS. Know that the foundation of justice can only be truth and VI VERI UNIVERSUM VIVUS VICI – It is by the power of truth that I, while living, have conquered the Universe!
