Opened in 1999 and located at the heart of Bucharest, Bucuresti Mall is the first shopping center in Romania that brought the international standards for retailing and entertainment.


From the first day of opening, Bucuresti Mall tried to exceed its visitors' expectations. In this respect, in 2001, Bucuresti Mall changed its shop mix, bringing new brands to Romanian market. In 2003, shopping center extended its parking capacity and added the third floor.

In 2007, Bucuresti Mall was extended with 9,000 sqm GLA and a multilevel car parking for 800 cars. The built surface of Bucuresti Mall after extension became 99,000 sqm.

Bucuresti Mall was the first lifestyle shopping center in Bucharest offering over 140 stores with a wide range of leisure, entertainment and shopping options in one destination.

  • Been in that mall, not so big but looks good
  • I think it's better then Plaza Romania even though it's smaller.
  • The mall hosted an exhibition of real-size dinosaurs, between may and august 2007. They were actually quite nice.
  • cool place, too bad it's a gipsy filled neighborhood, watch out at night!
