Route 663 to Route 675--Plei Me (photo)

This box marks the beginning of the (largely) unimproved road that runs to Plei Me -- the sign advertises Ia Mor ("Ia" as in, for example, "Ia Drang") rather than Plei Me.

Ia Mor appears on pre-1975 maps as Ia Meur (yes, French spelling). Near the headwaters of Ia Meur was once a village named Plei La Meur.
