The Mariemont Embankment is an elongate earthen structure that extends along the southeast-facing edge of a glacial terrace that overlooks the lower reaches of the Little Miami River. This tree- and brush-covered embankment extends along the south side of much of the 0.8 mile length of Miami Bluff Drive, but it is most apparent toward the western end where it approaches a height of 4 to 5 feet.
