Profile :
Jayakumar - Obviously the best all rounder / batsman during this decade and a dedicative player who has so many match winning innings on his account. Stylish batting with beautiful foot work and shots all around the wicket.
My choice is to consider him as the Best cricketer from Kumaranalloor till date.
+ Ability to bat as per conditions, succesful bowler, very good fielder, Dedicative
- Hot temper & was not succesful in Captain's role.
Sathish Pillai ; Best Bowler of all the times, Bad luckily missed his position in District team during early 80s. Good close fielder and hard hitting batsman. Once, Kumaranalloor was depending heavily on his alround performance.
+ Consistent length, ability to read a batsman in a short time, could be explosive from very first ball
- not serious in field
Anilkumar P.K. ; Superb field anywhere in the field with an unerring throw
+ was succesful in Captain's role
- hot temper, lack of ability to play power shots
Rajesh K : Kottayam District Player, Good Batsman, Occasionally succesful with ball also
+ The most powerful shots at Pechankunnu were delivered from his bat
- Lacks ability to perform as per situations
Suresh : Defensive Batsman, Opening Bowler
+ Cool in the field
- Bad fielding
Biju Vargese : One of the good batsman during this decade whose ability was not utilized properly.
+ ability to play as per situation, both defensive and attacking strokes, Good fielder in the slips
- Lazy in the field, not so involved in Cricket
Aniyachan : Could have been the best Cricketer for the next decades if he was really interested / dedicated. Attractive Batting style
