Note to Matt and the administrators of wikimapia.... Since there are no administrative functions or methods for taking care of abusive users, this is what has happened. This is another attempt to do something about the user deleting many places. Unfortunately, I could not preseve the delete requests for you for evidence, since that would mean the loss of 20-50 legimately labeled locations. Also, a few places were lost; and lots of work along with them :(.

A rundown of places marked for deletion and/or lost to deletion:
businesses:
some with several lines or a paragraph's worth of descriptions, some with no descriptions and/or just a generic (retail), (auto), etc... tags
churches:
most were just a generic (church) tag with no description; they were confirmed locations, but the exact name was not listed

The user claimed that he was deleting places that were not perfectly described. Although it is true that many places had a generic title; the user also attempted to delete places that had more descriptive titles very similar to place that he himself added.
Unfortunately, many of these locations had been on wikimapia for 7 months or more. In addition, some of the places contained detailed descriptions (of which some are now lost).

BTW, as I mentioned earlier, this issue of not backing up your db data is a major issue. You should really consider some form of backup. (Let me know if you need help there. :) )
