This a beautiful fort situated between two rivers - 'Man' & 'Mhais'. It houses government offices and residential colonies. We used to be in awe of the slopes that this fort has. We could see this from the temple just next to the fort, called Baladevi.

What a view of the Mann and Bhains rivers. Sometimes now, it gets obstructed by the unchecked and now legally checked commercial growth of the noisy temple. Despite the temple, there is nothing and one may say there is all the things of discrimination by the administration. By the way, we used to visit the Qila or the Fort as picnic during schooling. We can even now see the water supply dam which has been kndly marked as a landmark by one Balapuri. I am trying to find how this correct information is being given by the 'Balapuri'. Ans for the NRS, one need to go heights to see and the temple is far shorter than the fort. The right slope and its adjacent wall of outer ring has fallen and I see no reason as to why the internal 'burj' should not fall as well. We are too busy with the 'Angkor Wats' to prove our hollow expertise.

Sorry. I want to know if any of the Balapurean is abroad. If I am not wrong, the younger sons of Adv M Akbar must be there. One of them was a budding Software engineer when I went abroad.
