ಹಲಸೂರು ಕೆರೆ - Halasoor lake (ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು Bangalore- The Garden City of India)halasoor lake is one of the few big lakes found in Bangalore. It is also used by the Madras Engineering group as a training area. Its one of the oldest lakes in Bangalore.
The lake is a tourist attraction spot in Bangalore. There is boating facility available. There is VIVEKANANDA PARK adjacent to the lake. It is a very calm and silent place to Meditate. The park has a 12 feet bronze statue of Swami Vivekananda. The Statue was made near BELUR MATH in West Bengal. This lake is said to be the favourite tourist spot of THE MYSORE WADIYARS.
