One of Sydney's earliest recorded nude beaches. Lady Bay situated on South Head. The Bay has carried a number of names including 'Haul', Ladies 'Haul', and 'Lady Jane' - fish were often netted off it, lady swimmers hauled up the cliff on ropes with Lady Jane possibly having been an allusion to a principal character in the Gilbert & Sullivan opera

  • Ah, maybe not. It is a nude beach - not a place for public sex! There are a lot of tourists walking past the top of the beach and any sex would get you (a) kicked off the beach by the nude bathers who are normal people who just prefer to suntan themselves without swimmers on and (b) arrested. Just don't.
  • ur a derick. ripped.
  • zoom in dammit!!! ZOOOM INN!!!!!
  • Spent a couple of hours on the beach in November 2007, nice place, no one bothered me but did realise I was only female on this beach (I didn't go nude, just wanted to go somewhere away from the tourists). Had a nice chat with some locals who said you do get the odd nudists nudging you to strip which is why the females don't go so often anymore. Shame, spoilt it for them i think. Anyway, nice place and quiet. Go with a friend if you can.
